Question #1:

Is this a Blood Clot Help?

Hi! me again, I am 22, 5'5'', 11st 10lbs, I am on anti-depressants for anxiety, I take odourless garlic & omega 3 fish oil supplements everyday. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I only drink water, I don't have salt on my food anymore and I walk my dogs 20 minutes a day. I spend a lot of time in my house, or on my computer, I try to do some exercise or walk around, I fidget a lot, wiggling my toes and feet because I am terrified of getting a blood clot. I went to doctors today (who has an obe from queen!) and told him I was having a warm feeling on the top of my right thigh it felt tingly sometimes, even a little stingy, not roasting hot, just a little warm I wouldn't say that much warmer from my other thigh. It twinges now and again, but I read on the internet that blood clots have no symptoms and just go to your lungs and kill you!!! and well I am absolutely terrified now, my doctor didn't seem too worried, he has given me antibiotics for my acne, I have had this little sensation on my thigh and close to my knee for 3 days now, is it a blood clot I am so scared I am nearly crying with fear, I am sorry to be such a pain for asking this but I am petrified, is it a blood clot?

Yesterday when I came home from doctors I did some exercise, today I have an ache in my thigh and well in some places as well, but a little pain in that thigh, I cannot begin to tell you how terrified I am. The surface of my thigh doesn't feel hot just feels normal temperature, but a little warm and achy, I am so scared because everyone online keeps saying that is a blood clot and I am terrified...am I at risk here? I have had that sensation on my leg for about 4 days now, it isn't a horrific pain, just a pinching pain every now and again. I also have flat feet and the foot on that leg is sore, I am panicking like mad.
I know I keep asking but I was at the doctor yesterday, and because I used to go to doctors a lot few months back, I am afraid to say to my mum or anything "I want to go to doctors about that warmth on my leg, which you say is nothing but which I keep thinking is a blood clot" I have had this sensation for nearly 4 days, it's periodic, not all the time, it feels warm not very warm on the skin but warm more under it, it aches a bit too. I am so scared I am crying.

Question #2:

What are some good foods that help you lose water from under your skin?

I know there are supplements to do this but are there any foods which act in the same way?

Question #3:

need advice on next training steps?

just adopted the very nicest puppy. long story short, the owner couldn't take him to the new home.
he's about 5 months old...
he's a boston terrier , i've had him about a week now. he seems healthy and pretty active , very attentive.

after day 3 we had "sit"
by the end of day 5 we had "lay down"
and now we are working on "stay"
( i can count as far as 10...before he starts getting antsy)
i have him OK w/ the leash ( he still leads a bit...but he's doing ok )

as for being off the leash...

in our backyard:

i've gotten hm to walk the perimeter (along the fences) unleashed and by my side
he will take the opportunity to "mark"
he will come when i call him (w/out a treat now...)

and in the front yard..ive had him walk the perimeter of our lawn and drive (both leashed and unleashed) and he seems to be getting it...

we are working on "leave it" (we have rabbits in our yard, and he wants to chase them...LOL)

so ....ANY advice!?

tricks are cool, but i'm more concerned in making sure this puppy will stay out of harms way, out of traffic, and not bothering people and their dogs walking by when we're working in the yard or whatever we happen to be doing...

oh, and should i get him "fixed" i've gotten a few opinions from friends, am certainly willing to hear a few more before i decide whether or not to have my new best buddies "nads" chopped off...(as a man...i just can't imagine....but some say it solves some problems. )

oh, also...ANY advice on raw foods to "supplement" a dry food diet.

ive gotten some good advice from other dog owners here, and would like to hear from any and all...

ty in advance...

I have no pain, only a little what I call "thumping" nag, and because I read about blood clots intensely I am in a state of panic because people have said that a little warm spot on your leg or thigh IS a blood clot and will kill you!!!

I am seriously freaked out right now, it feels tight as well, or maybe that's just my body tensing from panic...I just have a real fear it is a blood clot, even though I had a lower leg MRI scan couple of months ago, few months before that a chest X-Ray, D-Dimer test and ECG which al were normal...is it? or is it me?
thanks tabitha...I am officially petrified now.

Question #11:

If you raise the retirement age to 70, where are these people going to work?

I can understand that we cannot continue to support people for 20 or 30 years when they are not working but there are not enough jobs to keep everyone working until they are 70. It is hard for anyone to get a job and it is especially difficult to get a job if you are over 50. There are a number of people who have had to retire because they simply aren't able to find work. I am trying to save for an early retirement because I question if there will be work for me. I'm healthy and willing and able to work but will there be work for me--full time work--something I can do and not have to supplement with social security or pensions or 401K.

Question #12:

My Yorkie had a litter of 3, 9 days ago.1 is very tiny. I have been feeding him formula but he has not grown?

I took him to the vet and she has hopes he will survive. He is eating well, pooping and peeing. He cries quite a bit. He weighs less then 4 oz and his brothers are 7 oz and 11 oz. He is very tiny and fragile. I am worried. I am feeding him a formula of egg white, goats milk, goats milk yogart and corn syrup. Also giving him a high calorie dietary supplement from the Vet. Any advise would be welcomed.

Question #13:

Mixing supplements with applesauce vs. grain? And another question..?

I heard that instead of adding supplements to grain, you can put them in applesauce? The boarding facility that I currently have my horses at is having an issue giving my horses their supplements. Anyways, I need to make sure that they are getting what they need so I'm looking for alternate options.

Also, does it really matter if they get the supplements at the exact same time everyday if I do end up using the applesauce method?

Annnddd, which of these supplements would you choose for a horse with seasonal allergies?
(Is there any difference between the first two?)

Question #15:

Do you combine prayers with visits to a psychic, tarot reader, Shaman or curandera?

I'm amazed at how many people go to traditional church services. However, many of these people also supplement religious beliefs with visits to a psychic, Yogi or tarot reader. I guess its that 'little' extra that helps.
I think many people do this, though sometimes for play--like seeing a tarot card reader. But, they go to church on Sunday (or Saturday) too.

Question #18:

How likely do you think i can get a waiver for enlisting in the Army?

When i was 18 i had selfed harmed and the scars were visible when I went to MEPS. They held me back for a mental health waiver. I'm now about to be 21 and want to try enlisting. I've waited literally years for the chance that I can get in and now TX is accepting waivers again. An advisor online told me it depends on why the waiver was for and how long its been since the condition. Well I don't self harm anymore, I haven't since a few months before going to MEPS so its been nearly 3 years. I don't take any medications besides melatonin (supplement, not prescription). Do you think i have a chance?

Question #19:

Terrified of Blood Clots?

I am22, 5'5'' 11st 10lbs, I am on anti-depressants for anxiety, I take odourless garlic & Omega 3 fish oil supplements, I only drink water, I walk my dogs 20 minutes every day and I don't drink or smoke and stopped the combined pill a few months ago. I had a lower leg MRI scan couple of months ago, a few months before that I had a ECG, Chest X-Ray, D-Dimer test, all came back absolutely fine. I am terrified of blood clots to the point of extreme panic, I have a warm sensation above my right knee to the left a bit, you can't feel it on the skin but myself can feel it under, someone scared me online saying it was going to become a Pulmonary Embolism, I am so terrified I nearly cried with fear. Is it a blood clot.
I have flat feet which hurt after I walk for a long time, I spend most of my time at home, cleaning painting, writing and on the computer, but all I can think now "it's a blood clot it's a blood clot", it doesn't hurt and it's not red, so is it what I think it is I am so scared?
